So this is just a note to anyone new to this group or any lurkers out there or
any regulars who haven't done cards before. Imagine going to your mailbox
almost every day in December and finding a holiday card addressed to you from
someplace far away. Some days when winter is long and dark, it is an almost
magical lift. Cards are a quick way to get to know people on ASA in a little
more intimate way. They can be made on a computer or bought on ebay. One
year I got an amazing card that someone's child had made with drawings and
glitter. Even sending an e-card works for me!
If your hands hurt, there is a lable program. I will even send you lables if
you have web tv ot a hard time with lable program or lack a printer. You just
have to slap a lable on an envelope and sign your name and your off and
running.
If you send Hanukkah or solstice cards that's great.
If you want to read a post about cards that will make you cry, google Harv
Cards Dec. 15, 2001. Then get on the list my emailing your snailmail address
to Rose at Imarosab.1@shaw.ca leaving off the Ima.

Don't forget that this will also be the season for poota
nasties getting attached to things like E-Cards and the
like. Make sure your poota is protected against seasonal
bugs!
...AND, be careful about those "send this to a friend"
links. Many of those things will lose you friends when the
spam starts rolling in.
