I had problems 3 years ago which took about 6 months to get better,
now I've got trouble again in my right one.

Last time it was diagnosed as a Rotator Cuff problem but it seemed
nothing was known that would help it get better.

Anyone else know of something that may help.  Serious comments only
please - suicide no one of the answers I'd favour :-)

I've had a hemi-arthroplasty on both shoulders, William. Three years of
pain before the ops, but now - blessed relief, albeit with restricted
movement. Needless to say, I'm not complaining!

I had a friend who got better with physical therapy.  I've had to have two
surgeries.

William - I've had both rotator cuffs torn, one through competitive
swimming, the other from fainting onto a concrete floor.  Didn't have
surgery on either one, but remember alternating heat and ice.  Seemed
to help, but it's been years (I was 23 the "fainting" time).  I would
think they have better care for it now (or at least I can hope they
would).  I also remember doing ROM exercises so that I could continue
to swim (butterfly), they were painful, but at least I can still swim,
well... um...  I look more like I'm drowning when I try to do butterfly
now, but I can still "sort of" do it...  My problems now aren't related
to the torn cuffs either.
