Hi folks
I hope that someone out there can relate or give me some direction.
I live a very active lifestyle. I have an acute pain in the shoulder and hip
areas in the evenings. It is weird because when I wake up the pain is no
longer there. I thought this was from the work outs and so forth but when I
even do not do the work outs I get this uncomfortable pain. On a scale of
1-10, the pain is about a 5.
My friend told me to start taking glucosamine.
Just looking for some direction. I do not plan on going to see a Doctor yet.
Thanks

Not going to see a doctor about chronically painful areas, and then
trying to self medicate, is a pretty bad idea. Go see your doctor.
Cheers,
Ari

I'm going to die rather sooner than I'd like. I tried to protect my
neighbours from crime, and became the victim of it. To jump to the end
of the story, as a result of this I need a bone marrow transplant. Many
people around the world are waiting for a marrow transplant, too. Please
volunteer to be a marrow donor:

Why not? How long has this been going on?

Pain is your body's way of telling you something is wrong. I take my car to
a mechanic, my dog to a vet and myself to a doctor when I need to.
Another old saying, life is what happens while you are making other plans.
I'd suggest you see a doctor sooner rather than later. Why wait until
damage might be done that cannot be reversed?

Take it for a couple of months and if the pain is still there
go and see your doctor.

Like the others, I suggest you see a doctor. There are a variety of things
that could be causing this and it's best to get to the source of it asap. It
may even be something you are doing during the day besides working out that
is aggravating it, but you do need to get to the bottom of what is going on.
