He's having me use half a patch. The instructions, unfortunately, read
"Use as instructed"
Cutting the patch in half is all the instruction I got. The rest of
the information (pharmacy insert) says not to leave on more than 12
hours. Does that mean I can only use one a day or one every 12 hours?
I can't call him until Monday (yes, I suppose I could call the after
hours number).
He had me stop taking the Vicodin. And, I think, Mobic. I went ahead
and took the Mobic this morning because I didn't pick up the Lidocain
patches until later in the morning.
Can I take them together? Writing this question just now reminds me
that I can call the pharmacy with my questions.
I am feeling somewhat better. My dog is having a sleepover at a
friend's house because I don't have a yard so have to walk him. Peeing
isn't a problem but I can't, as yet, lean over and pick up the poop.
Another friend has been coming over to walk him but weekends for her
get a bit crazy.
I have wonderful friends. :)

HI,
I had to wear a patch for 14 hours then leave them off for 14
hours.....and I could cut it to fit any area. That is the exact
direction on the label from the Rx.

So glad that you have wonderful friends. I have too, and a wonderful family.
they all understand my disibilities. So do my grandchildren always asking if
there is anything they can do. Of course I am one that says no even if I can't
do it. Hard to face when you were always very active. God Bless audie

The instructions printed on the outside of the box I have state:
Apply up to three (3) patches at one time to cover the most
painful area. Apply patches only once for up to 12 hours in
a 24-hour period (12 hours on and 12 hours off).
Mine are LIDODERM brand Lidocain patches.
