Hi All,

Has anyone suffered any particular side effects with Humira?  I am about to
start it, have to get my TB test first, but hope to get it started soon.  I
am already on 25mg MTX, prednisone, plaquinil and folic and have luckily had
no side effects at all. I've had RA for 7 years and I do still have a lot of
pain and am keeping my fingers crossed that his will get me moving more
towards normal.

Thanks for any input.

Rosanne

PS I used to watch this group a long time ago, I think I asked the same
question then except it was about plaquinil :)

Hi Roseann -

I've had two shots this month and I'm not taking another one.  It
started a nasty flare I hope will get better, but most DMARD's do that
to me.  24  hours after the first shot I developed a cough and 24 hours
after the second shot it got worse.  I have no fever, congestion, sore
throat, runny nose, etc., just a very dry harsh cough that I'm pretty
sure is going to blow my ribvage out LOL!!!

Other than that, I had no problems.  I didn't even get an injection site
reaction that is the most common side effect.

Good luck!

Kitty
