Hi me -

We need a name to call you LOL!!!  What kind of info are you looking
for?  I'm on it now but my experience won't help you.  I don't respond
to DMARD's like other people do.

Are you worried about something specific?

Hi Me:
I've been on Humira for 21 months now, and it's been the only biologic
that worked for me.  Not perfect, but it is helping with swelling and
inflammation.
I've been on so many meds in three years that failed me, but so far
humira seems to like this body.  LOL
Hope it helps you, and keep us posted to how you are making out with
it.

>Thanks,

I started on Labor day because Enbrel failed after a few years.  At
the time I started I could hardly walk as my knees had swollen and  my
ankles and feet were also in bad shape .  I also had bad shoulder
elbow and hand/wrist pain. In short I was as bad as I had ever been
since being diagnosed 6 years ago.
I felt no relief for 3 weeks, then ever so slowly I started to feel
better.  I'm at about 7 weeks now and except foe my knees (one much
more than the other)  I am almost pain free.  I'm not yet where I was
on Enbrel and I am also taking 5 mg more Prednisone than I was on
Enbrel.  I was at 5 mg per day before.  And I am taking Methotrexate
which i had stopped taking with Enbrel.

I am very satisfied so far but I really wish this bum knee would get
better.  I'm trying to lower my body weight as It's probably
contributing to my knee problems.  I put on a lot in the last 6-8
months as my meds started failing and I sat on my butt.
If you start taking it be prepared to progress very very slowly.  Then
one day hopefully you will just notice that one of you joints hasn't
hurt in a day or so.  Now I want it to help get rid of the nodules
that came on while I was between effective meds.

I started Humira in July and was one of the lucky ones to get almost
instantaneous results. Adding the humira to my mtx allowed me to get
off prednisone finally after 3 years. I've been stiffer this
fall...don't know whether that is due to the weather, dropping the
prednisone, or loosing my vioxx and having to switch to mobic. Still
doing well though just more stiffness than i had all summer with the
combo of mtx, humira, vioxx and pred. good luck to you hope it helps as
much as it helped me

I started on Humira about a month ago when Enbrel didn't seem to be
effective for me anymore.  It seems to be finally kicking in.  I take 12.5
mg of methotrexate a week also.
I still seem to get a lot of pain in my hands though.
