i'm just letting everybody know that i really am reading as many posts as i
can and keeping those in need of prayer and support close to my heart, in my
prayers and thoughts, cheering on others, hanging in there with some and
sending hugs and lots of love to all of you.
i don't dare try to respond to all the posts i can now read, because my
system is on the fritz and hangs when i do. sometimes, a rebooting gets me
back and sometimes it doesn't. i suspect it is going to hang, as soon as i
post even this, but i wanted to let you guys know that i'm still with all of
you, in spirit and prayer.
i'm working on repairing this one-eyed monster, but haven't had too much
luck so far. we'll see how much patience i have, before i finally give up
and take it in for repairs--two weeks worth of patience and counting, so
far.LOL thank goodness i have been able to email, without hanging and can
now read more posts, or i'd probably find a way to physically throw this
bugger as far as next year! doncha just love machines that think human
beings are subordinate to their needs?---sometimes, i think these machines
are manmade cats.LOL

I was going between using a new WebTV address and Google Groups
(regular and beta 2). Google wasn't updating for me worth a hoot.
Finally got my computer going again. Did a clean install. Lost a lot
of stuff but I look at it like this--freed up a lot of space. LOL To
quote Belarc Advisor:
6.43 Gigabytes Usable Hard Drive Capacity
4.67 Gigabytes Hard Drive Free Space
I was at 2 or 3 gigs free (I've reinstalled some programs after making
a ton of restore points).
I'm a packrat in RL and in CL. ;-)
Hope everything works out for you. I'm going to download an email
program that doesn't think MSN Messenger has to be always on. I
already use Opera for my default browser instead of IE. I was using
free Incredimail. Might again or might try another. I'm using Free
Agent for newsgroups.
I agree. Meowwww!!!! LOL

virus or worm that has gotten in my computer. Good luck with making it
right and I usually have to have help.

Don't you have an ongoing virus protector such as McAfee or Norton
Antivirus? I thought everyone did. I have a program called GoBack that
lets you go back to when it was working. All you have to remember is what
you were doing and SAVE things you want to save because EVERYTHING will be
gone.
