I started getting a rash on my feet a couple of years ago when I started
methotrexate.  I went to my primary care doctor and she told me it was
Athletes Foot and to use Lamisil on it.  While I was off of methotrexate for
several months, it seemed to go away.  Now that I have been back on
methotrexate for about six months I'm getting the rash again, mostly on the
same foot.  I have been using Lamisil and it does seem to clear it up but
then another area of rash crops up in a different place on the same foot.
Does anyone else have this problem with foot rash?
Since my elbow surgery, I'm not supposed to use scissors yet and so was
thinking of getting a pedicure but I am not sure I can with this constant
rash.  So any suggestions on how to get rid of it permanently would be
appreciated.  Or is it just one of the side effects of being on
methotrexate?

I've been on MTX for a few years now and never got a rash on my feet from
it.  I get athletes foot on occasion but its just red dry cracked skin
between my toes that goes away as soon as I start using Lotramin.  No better
and no worse with MTX.
