sore throat

I am on Mex and F. acid once a week. I have had a sore throat every
since I have been on it. Can someone tell me if it is one of the sight
affects.Thanks, Wanda

Hi Wanda, No, not directly from the medicine. It is a sign of acid
reflux which might be aggravated by how you take your medicine.
Do you take them with food? Do you lay down before two hours have passed
after eating? Do you have indigestion or excessive gas?

In that case, I would be sure to call you doctor and let them know that
you seem to be having acid reflux with the oral. You can do permanent
damage to yourself with that if you don't let them know. He may have
suggestions to help.

Hmmmmmm..............if you have just a sore throat, it could be acid
reflux, but it also could be a yeast infection or some viral thing or
something else. I think I would let my doctor know that I was having
the sore throats and let him/her figure out if it is in fact reflux or
something else. Good luck to you!!!
