Hallo to all of you, ASA and UPSA lovers, For those who are interested in RA related foot problems, here is the link to my foto reportage about my foot problems during the last three years. Is it much easier for walking? - Mary MacT http://www.alamedacreek.net Mary, It wil be much easier for walking but I am waiting for my hand made orthopedic shoes.This is absolutely necessary because the correction on my big toe was an " arthrodese ", it means a fusion between the first metatarsal bone and the proximal phalanx of great toe. The other toes were a Hofmann procedure. Even without the orthopedic shoes I can walk without a problem. As a former wound care nurse I found these photos fascinating. But then, nurses are like that. :-) --- Joan Hi Wil! Your pictures and the end result are amazing. I think you even had Ichy Toes (otherwise known as Dan) beat. The difference after the surgeries is amazing. How do they feel?
