What kind of toothpaste works best for those of you with mouthsores from the Arava? Dale dosen't really have sores but his mouth is very tender now. He had a pizza last nite. I know a no no when upset tummy, but he had to have it and I wasn't home. he said it hurt his mouth and that toothpaste does too. Kathy Biotene, and biotene mouth wash. It is non caustic and very nice taste. The only thing with the tooth paste is you will notice it doesn't foam like regular toothpaste but it works good. I have lupus sore inside my mouth and had a biopsy done, only thing that helped relieve the sores besides some cortisone gel called lidocaine gel, for that is a script to get. good luck janers > What kind of toothpaste works best for those of you with mouthsores from the > Arava? But for me, anything that claims tartar control is major bad. Jo i use biotene for sjorgens syndrone and i find it doesn't burn like other toothpaste. wish you well.
