Move to CA... we have 7 months of summer. Ugh. It's 93 degrees now, and it
supposed to get up to 100!!

-Ashley  (I'd take snow over this ungodly heat right now)

Same here.  We've already had so much "summer" this year that snow sounds
good.  Plus it will warm up there far sooner than it will cool off here.

...and I sent the two youngest off to school in shorts this morning because
they came home complaining they were too hot yesterday. The weather's enough to
drive ya crazy around here.

 Hi Kim,

Recently searching the old family memorabilia I found a newspaper
clipping from 1935 or 1936 from the Akron Beacon Journal showing my
brother, myself and my Dad in front of a home in Akron ( where I was
born)  surrounded by snow in July.  Be glad it's April and not July.

I lived in Ohio for over 50 years and it has not changed a bit.

You want to hear crazy??  The sun is shining in Seattle!!!  And has been
for almost the entire week!!  If this keeps up, we'll lose our
reputation :)))  Right now, it's bright, the sky is blue, and I have a
new family of birds singing outside my window. Yesterday was so warm I
had all the windows and the patio door open :))))  May it last forever!

That's the latest I remember it snowing in Ohio!  I remember it snowing on
April 1st when I was a kid. The reason I remember was that when I got up my
brother told me it had snowed over night. I was young enough to be really
excited about it and ran to the window to look outside at which time he
hollered, "APRIL FOOL'S.  Only the joke was on him cause he hadn't looked
outside yet and it really had snowed. It wasn't much -- but it was snow none
the less.  But the 27th --- that's absolutely uncalled for Mother Nature!

I'll growl with ya, KJ!!!  UGH!  Someone told me it's supposed to be
in the low 70's tomorrow.  From snow to summer in 24 hours....I wish
mother nature would make up her mind!
Heading to Akron tomorrow to see Dr. B.
Have fun in Boston!!  I'll be thinking of you guys!!  Sure wish I
could be there!

Snow??????

Then maybe I shouldn't tell you we had a cold snap also.  75 in our small
Ga. town.  I had been in the 80's.  LOL   Hope it is warmer soon for you.
It sure does make me feel better.

ah, just flurries though, isn't it?  That's all we have had.  Well there was
a dusting this morning, but it melted and it's just been flurries ever since.
You see, it's just to get you in a real needy Gimpfest and margaritas mood.

Wow it has been 70 to 75 this weekend on Sunday it was about 80 and I
had my air conditioning on.  Dogwoods are in bloom but starting to
fade and the Rhodies are coming on strong.  I put out the Geraniums
and petunia baskets this past weekend.  Snow this late yikes.  -- MZ
