Just changed drs today. I am so ticked.
It looks like I might have a bad bladder infection now.
The blood and pus the new dr thinks is from a bladder infection. She is
redoing my blood work and doing a urine culture.
Also she is ordering me a holter monitor also for the chest pains and
palpatations.
She put me on new antib and gave me diflucin for the yeast. She said to
follow up tomorrow with my gyn to make sure that it is not a cyst again but
she seems to think it is a bladder infection.
I talked to my other dr on Fri he said no need for any more antib, and that
I had a virus and it would take time to go away.
She wants to see what my blood sugar level looks like and she will give me
pred again for the lungs.
So I have a feeling now things will go better now that I have a dr that will
listen to me.
So things are looking up that way anyways. I talked with someone that has
her for a dr and she is not afraid to run many tests to rule out other stuff
and make sure you are getting the treatment you need.
She is the one I had about a year or so ago when I had the other urinary
tract infection that my other dr said no it wasn't. I should have learned
then but sometimes it takes me awhile. She is also the one that said I have
diabetes. So she is checking my glucose once again.
She thinks I have several things going on at once and that is why the antib
didn't work the first time.
I have to go into gyn to rule out cyst tomorrow and do xray to see if
pnemonia.
So hopefully I will live to tell about it. ;-)
She is amazed at how high my white blood cells have gone.
I will probably hear from her as soon as the results come in so will let you
all know.
Oh yeah when I told her I can't keep coming in because of Jim not having a
job. She talked with him about it and was very sympathic to him about it. My
other dr could have cared less.
Oh man, had massive neck spasm when they were doing the ekg. Talk about
hurt. Oy vie (is that how you spell that, can't think now.
If you don't hear from me answering posts or email, either I am sicker, or
my puter went again. It is back to doing the same thing again. This time I
am running it till it dies. I will try to keep us as much as I can.

Sounds like it was way past time to change doctors. Anyone here with
diabetes whose has has bladder infections associated with it. Form some
reason, that rings a bell. Mother has diabetes and has trouble with them
so could just be associating things badly. Original doctor sounds like a
loser.

Jo, it sounds as if the new doctor just may get things under control for
you. Pray it is so.

Gwen, thank you and yes it sure does sound like this dr is going to work for
me. At least the last time I had her, she did rerun the urine work to make
sure it was gone.
Thanks KJ, it means alot to me.

Thank you so much Nann.
I think finally the antib might be working to clear it. I hope. I did have a
scare yesterday when I went to bathroom and was passing blood clots. But the
nurse said that was ok because of the possible bladder infection.
but now I got my period on top of it all so won't know what is going on with
bladder for about a week now. ;-)
My congestion this morning is open and running so I take that as a good sign
too. Before it was so tight I couldn't get any of it out. Now I will be
buying stock in kleenix. ;-)
I know you can sympathize with this one though. Boy the costo stuff is going
crazy now. Also from doing xray yesterday it has my shoulder and neck going
crazy. But this too shall pass. ;-)

I agree with you there Duckie about past time for changing. For over a year
now I kept debating about it. But I kept giving him a second chance and a
third chance. Since I keep screwing up, I give people lots of chances. But
now I see I blew it by doing that because of my health this time. I get alot
of urinary tract infections well anyways for the last three years. But this
will be the first time for a bladder infection if that is what it has turned
into now. the dr yesterday seems to think it is, but we are waiting for the
culture to come back and I think that takes a few days. I am on new antib.
The sister to cipro, Avelox. Those are the only two I am not allergic too.
I went to my gyn appt and no cyst. No nothing that would be gyn related. He
didn't even see yeast. So I am wondering since yeast showed on the urine
work if it is up in the bladder area. Got great report from gyn, even had my
yearly checkup done while there so I dont have to go back for another 1-3
yrs. Depending on what pap smear shows.
Started urinating blood clots today so dr has been notified and the nurse
said it is probably due to the irritation up there. So I am just waiting for
a call from the dr.
The dr I had, was good in some areas that is why it took me this long to say
byebye baby. He was good with running xrays, checking for cancer, filling
out paperwork, my cyst stuff, and sometimes with the pain. But then in some
other areas he really messed up. Especially with the urinary stuff. I also
did believe him when he said no diabetes that it was just from me being on
pred at the time. Other drs I saw also checked glucose test stuff and said
no my sugar levels were in a safe range. But I know my blood sugars do jump
around alot.
Sorry this got so long and probably more than you wanted to know. I thought
it was just my mouth that ran on, but no my fingers do too. ;-)

Yeah!! one good doctor's visit. Glad your new doctor is up on things so
well. We may just get our Squirrely squared away yet. Then your only
problem with be your arthritis. rofl Funny to fit that into an only
category.

Oh duckie, that would be great to only have to deal with the arthritis, fms,
and costo stuff. Well the allergies too. Oh forget it I am getting in that
return line and getting rid of all this stuff but three. ;-)
I hope you have a great time at the gimpfest, I am sure you will.
Thanks again.

Thanks DeeTee.
I am still waiting for the drs call. I am not sure if she has tried calling
in the evening. I figured by 6 at night they should have gone home so maybe
I should stay off phone and puter till she does call.
I can only go on puter at night, every once in awhile I will connect quickly
to send out emails I have worked on offline.

Well at least now you can see how whacked out I am. I responded earlier to
DeeTee on Nanns post and now responding to Nann on DeeTees.
I had better soon find my brain before I get worse. ;-)
Nann, thanks. I sure hope she does.
