| Donna G..I was wondering the same thing, I belong to a couple of
| diabetic ng's and sometimes there are 1500 posts and then it goes down
| to 200. A real shame as they don't give you any credit on the bill,
| when their service isn't what it should be! Thanks for the info....Mic

Yup, I called them, and told them the problem....their response was:
"Sorry for the inconvience, and hung up!" I haven't been feeling the
best, dealing with all that is on my plate, so haven't gotten the old
Irish attitude yet (maiden name: McGuire)

When Attbi who was Comcast predecessor was called about the missing
posts, I was told that it was because the group wasn't talking that day.
right.
I asked the idiot if he could look at Google Groups and just see how
much no talking the group was actually doing. Seems they couldn't get on
line. That was when I moved to the German Newsreader.
But don't know if the webtv people could use them.

Nope, we can't use the german server because we can't ?configure it
right.
And, no, they webtv/msntv very rarely gives you any credit or money back
for all the difficulties they have. They always just apologize for the
inconvenience and then end the conversation. They make it extremely
difficult to track down anyone but the customer service number and
absolutely will refuse to give you a corporate address or phone number
to talk to someone there. If by some small chance you can get a hold
of any of that information, you can then call the corporate office and
if you whine and complain long enough and loud enough, you might then
get a credit. I did manage at one point about a year or two ago to get
someone in the corporate office and I went on and on about all the
problems, finally I think the guy had had enough of listening to me and
he did give me a 3 month credit for all the lost time on my webtv.
VERY hard to do though!
Webtv is really, really having a hard time right now and can't figure
out what the problem is at all. Maybe we should have some of you
computer geeks or computer savy people go figure it out for them!!!
LOL! It DOES get frustrating to constantly see all of the posts just
disappear into thin air never to be found or retreived again!!!
