Harv, it would be nice if you'd use Texas for your examples instead of
taking gratuitous (and exaggerated) swipes at California. I wrote
extensively about our problems a few days ago, but I was born and
raised here and pay California , so I've got a right. I try to keep
my serious comments factual.

For twenty or thirty years,,,,, as goes Calf.,,,so goes the nation. I weep
for Calf.... and what it has got itself into. I have wept for what our
nation has got itself into and then I think of Boxer from Calf. and I do not
weep anymore,,,, I get mad. I look at my grandkids and I get mad.
I am sorry if I have got under your skin a little and I will try not to.

Thanks, Harv. I think most of us try to be proud of our states and
countries, but it grieves me to see what our California politicians
and voters have done to us over the last 40 or 50 years. Jerry
Brown's father and Earl Warren presided over some great development
and improvement projects, but nowadays we don't even have money to fix
our potholes and bridges.
