DeeTee and Bob Taggart - 28 Apr 2008 21:56 GMT
I have another hernia. I am absolutely certain it started when those nurses
were so rough with me but have no proof. Anyway, the soonest I can get in to
see the surgeon is May 28th. So I have to be careful how I sit, stand, walk,
bend, etc. When I cough, I have to hold my tummy in manually. Sigh. I'm a
poor me. It means another surgery of course. Three in barely over a year.
Heavy sigh. My PCP confirmed this morning that it is a hernia and that I
need to see the surgeon....again. She said, "You just can't seem to get a
break can you?"

Oh DeeTee,  this is not good news.  You need to get a doctor on your side as
Donna did so you can be taken care of when in the hospital instead of having
the nurses manhandle you.  I hate that you have to wait so long to see the
surgeon.  Tell them to call you for any cancellation.  You really need care
ASAP.  Will be praying for you.

Oh No!!!!  You certainly deserve to whine a lot. I hope you can get this
over with soon.

As we say in the south,,,,  Wellll, bless your heart,,, you just can't get a
break.....   I know the feeling when things come back, when things repeat
themselves.   You have a plan to go through what it takes for the fix and
know what it is all about which puts you wayyyy ahead of someone new with
the problem butttt we still get a little down.  So it goes.

Well, shoot, DeeTee, enough already!!!

You have every right to feel sorry for yourself, girl, you have been
through so much in the past year!  It all gets so old so quickly doesn't
it?

Praying that this will be the last surgery and/or complication for a
good long time!  Also praying that the staff at the hospital treat you a
whole lot better this time around!!!

Blessings Lady!!!

very gentle ((((((((((((DeeTee)))))))))))))

Oh, DeeTee, not again.  Our prayers and hugs are with you and your family.
I would mention the treatment you got from the nurses, even if you don't
have any proof.  Maybe they can incorporate a training system.

(((((((((((((((((((((((((very tender))))))))))))))))))))))))  i'd be amazed
and wondering why not, if you weren't feeling a whole host of emotions about
this and for yourself.  sigh . . .

dang it!  this is absolutely NOT on my list of things i want for you in your
life.  this is such heartbreaking news to read.  total bummer.

can you give me the names of those nurses?  i'm thinking tony soprano should
hear about them and maybe "educate" them (thinking . . . tony won't care
about proof).  grrrrrrrr . . .  and if that doesn't work, i'm going to go
right out and buy diane a new replacement for her missing magic wand!

i'm so sorry, sweetie.  you've already been through so much.

that'd be great, joan!  you figuring on those nurses clumsily bumping into
the handle a few times?  or taking them "for a ride" (kinda, oops.  guess
they fell off.)?  then we can hope they have nurses to take care of them
just as gently as they took care of our sweet deetee.

I hate surgery and have a rule only one a year. Frankly I prefer one
every other but three in one year just sucks. Takes a year for me to
ditch all that anesthetic they use. And I now know to color my hair
BEFORE I go instead of waiting as the color won't take in the hair just
after for some reason...

(((((((((((((((((((((((DeeTee))))))))))))))))))))))  I hope you are on a
cancellation list for the surgeon?  I'll pray for someone else to be doing so
well s/he cancels and you get in sooner!  You are far too precious to us to
keep suffering like his.
