the anesthetic makes you feel better right away.  but that wears off and it
takes a couple of/few days for the cortisone to kick in.  here's hoping you
are one of the lucky ones for whom this procedure's benefits last for a year
or two!

Kate - wasn't me getting the shot....it was Vicki. I've had the shots
before. Sometimes they worked and sometimes they didn't.

i know.  i had a confused brain vapour lock.  i was agreeing with your
hope-post for vickie when i first started to post.   and then, i recalled my
own experiences with epidurals.  so, it wound up seeming like i was
responding to you, when i meant it for vickie.  duhhh . . .

(sigh . . . i think my mind is joining my body in acting fatigued.)

Thanks guys!  I'm feeling some better today already!  The shot was
more of a deal that I thought.

Now to continue therapy, nerve induction study, and then shoulder
surgery!

Whew!  Didn't know there are so many doctors!

Lol

Vickie, I had my nerve induction study yesterday morning, and then a brain
scan after that.  If she didn't find a brain she didn't mention it!
