Just a quick thank you to all of you nice people that posted me about this
problem I was worrying about, I really really appreciated it!!
Had it done yesterday at 12.30 and felt fine. Had to go home for about 3
hours and then had the scan which took about another 45 mins which is
boring but nothing to worry about.
I will get back to you as soon as I can, as I have now been referred from
my Neurosurgeon to an Orthopaedic Surgeon next Monday and get the final
diagnosis, but my Neurosurgeon showed me the films and quite clearly shows
I need hip replacement.
I think I may have said before but I have Private Health Insurance but
didn't include Hip Replacement which made it much more affordable (thinking
of course it won't happen to me)!!!
Have since joined up to cover me for the Hip Replacement but have another
10 months to wait for my being covered unless the Orthopaedic Doctor can
somehow get me in as a Public Patient and of course I think it depends on
the seriousness of each person is taken into consideration. Anyway won't
know anymore until next week.
Just one other question (as I feel quite comfortable posting to this group)
is does anyone know of anyone who had had to wait a long time (many months
at least I am talking about) on a Public Hospital Waiting List? Even
though I have worked for Doctors for years but never in this area.
Anyway one again thanks for all the input and thank you all very much for
that and as usual I was worrying about nothing.
Regards
