Five County Areas Hit Record Temps
Monday, March 24, 2008
The county saw a very warm Easter Sunday with at least five areas hitting record high temperatures.
The National Weather Service said the Wild Animal Park in San Pasqual Valley warmed up to 93 degrees, beating a record of 86 set in 1998.
El Cajon hit 90 degrees. Brown Field hit 88 degrees, Ramona 84 and Oceanside 81 degrees.
Today, temperatures are expected to drop back down into the 70s at the beaches and to the lower 80s inland.
... Tonight's weather: Dark with continued darkness until dawn.
