Hi Gang,

If you wouldn't mind, I would appreciate it if you all could say some
prayers for my friend, her daughter, and her grandson.  They have a
whole lot on their plates to deal with are all quite overwhelmed at the
moment.    They are asking for as many prayers as possible!!!

My friend, Nan, just got home from the hospital about a week ago, after
being in for double pneumonia.   She still has a long ways to go before
she is even close to being back to normal.  

In the mean time, yesterday her daughter, Barb, was taken to the ER very
ill.   She was admitted to the hospital and diagnosed with a large mass
in her colon that they are about 90% sure is a malignant tumor.  She was
to have emergency surgery last night, but they then felt she wasn't
stable enough for the surgery, so they moved her to ICU and now feel
like they will need to fly her (they live in Nevada) to either Arizona
or California, to a hospital that is better able to deal with the
situation.  Apparently the tumor is quite large and located very near
the liver and they are worried about doing the surgery there in Nevada.

Barb has a 14 year old son who hasn't yet been told how dire things are
at the moment with his mom!

Please, if you could, say some prayers for this family as they face this
most daunting situation!!!
