Well, got the results from my nasal swab MRSA test last week. It was
negative, however my doctor said that just because no MRSA bacteria showed
up in the nasal area, doesn't mean that it couldn't have colonized to
another area. Oh, great! But, he told me to contact him immediately if the
sore erupts again. So, guess for now, it's all I can do. He did have me on
a Sulpha drug for a week before I saw him today, and it did help me more
than the other antibiotics I'd been on. Thank you all for your concern and
encouragement through the many months of "not knowing". I hope this is the
end of it! Nanny

Nanny, I too hope this is the end of it. Sometimes not knowing is worse
than knowing! At least if you know , you have some idea of what to do about
it--or at least a doctor does>

Nanny, here's praying that the infection is cleared completely and that
you don't have any further problems with it!
