Well here we go:
Mild levoscoliosis (left curve). Other than endplate (top and bottom of
vertebral bones) degenerative signal and erosions, marrow space is intact.
This is actually a slight improvement from my last exam.
But, diffuse spondylitic disc disease and bulging, moderately severe at
L2-L3 and L3-L4, and mild to moderate at the remaining disc levels. Disc
bulging is asymmetric the left at L1-L2 and asymmetric to the right at
L2-L3. No herniation.
Acquired changes results in mild to moderate central spinal stenosis at
L3-L4 unchanged. Multilevel neural foraminal stenosis is severe bilaterally
at L3-L4 and moderately severe bilaterally at L2-L3 and L4-L5 and on the
left at L5-S1. That is a considerable change from last testing.
Now I wait and see what recommendations are made with regard to the
foraminal stenosis.

Hey Gary
You may want to ask a doctor about a new procedure called XSTOP!!! look it up on the net. It is for
spinal stenosis and my doctor just did the first one around here about a month ago. It helps to
keep the discs from well you read about it. google XSTOP!!
good luck and no wonder you are in pain. I had my surgery and am doing alright. But the numbness of
the leg makes me drag my leg and foot, so I have to watch and remember pick up my leg. and not
stumble. today it started to drain at the incision and I called the doc and if it continues of
course antibiotics will be in my future. Seems with lupus that is a major concern and I did have
them prior to surgery, during and after IV. We will see. Maybe it is over now.
take care and let me know what you think of the XSTOP
bye

janers, janers, janers,
how can you recommend this to me?!
"Physical activity limitations may include:
no bending backward
no heavy lifting
no stair climbing
no sports such as swimming, golf, tennis, racquetball, running or
jogging. "
No GOLF!!!!
:-)
Glad to hear your surgery went well for you. Get that incision healed
healed now, you hear?
A little hitch in your git along? Can we call you Chester now?

I CALL IT GET ER DONE WALKING. If I stumble then I can blame it on bad shoes but with you, it is
just bad golf right? hehe
.
NOW NOW the XSTOP will at least let you free of pain then. Golf? How silly, just go to putter golf
and do it slowly, you don't need to bend much there. Get a LONG club. I Hear they do have them, men
brag about it so I just take it that they make them kind LOL. or were given them kind.
And any how, the physical limitation MAY is the word. AND IT MAY NOT!!! have them limitations
I guess it is always going to be golf first isn't it. Just like a man and his............
ok I give.
