No. This is a "support" group, not a "medical advice" group.

No one here is a doctor or PT and we are not qualified to
give that type of medical advice (also called practicing
medicine without a license).

Even a doctor would be negligent dispensing medical advice
before seeing and examining a patient.

Crikey, what rattled your cage?

I wasn't looking for "medical advice", I was looking for anyone who
might have used infrared, specifically on wrist injuries, and who
might care to conversationally comment on their experiences.

I made it clear in the original post that I'm seeing a physio. In
fact, my last session was last Tuesday during which he mentioned that
infrared can be of use. I'll be seeing him again this Tuesday when
we'll discuss it some more.

I'm impressed by how your initial unreal presumption allowed you to
develop a diatribe - you surely have some bad things happening inside
your head. I realize you've only shown the merest tip of the iceberg
but I wonder how many people - of "all" ages - you've psychologically
harmed/damaged with such righteous repressed violence...

You got pretty much the same reply from everyone.  You did not ask if anyone
had used infrared on their own wrist injury.  Like the others I don't follow
why you would expect to find someone with that specific experience on an
arthritis support group.  We give support.  We share experiences.  We don't
give medical advice.

I'm seeing a lot more 'presumption' on you part.  All the replies you got
were pretty much the same.  What about you made that particular reply pull
your chain?

i was thinking the same thing, jo.  and since i've known chief for a long
time and met him, i can sense his intentions.  i didn't see/feel a diatribe,
nor all that other negative energy and psycho-babble in chief's response.
john, try re-reading what chief wrote, but with a different tone of voice in
your head.  chief's a good guy.

Jorlat,,,,,,,  Your question was a set up and could be jumped on no matter
which way it was answered.   Did you enjoy that?   Make your day?  We have
seen your kind before.
