Is this a serious question, or the set up for a joke?:)

From Wikipedia (who explain it better and more succinctly than I could)...

"A trophy wife is commonly used to describe any wife of an (usually) older
man; and who is considered a status symbol."

A question on a TV show this afternoon wanted the "ideal age"
of a trophy wife.  Neither Mary not I had heard the term before.

Rather strange that I would read this today (two days after published date)
because a woman gave a humerous speech on a trophy wife at Toastmasters'.
Today.  I hadn't heard the term used before, but apparently, according to
her, it is a second wife, usually younger than the husband.

Interesting to hear all the comments.  There are times when I would like a
trophy husband, but I hear they are the hardest to train.  LOL
