I am reaching out in my time of great need and pain....My bubble link
went away.

So I'm sitting at home last night-no kids-no obligations-I have had a
glass of extraordinary organic wine someone gave me for my birthday
(believe it or not, there are some good organic wines out there).  I
am going to play bubbles.  I have not had time to lay bubbles since
late summer.  I love bubbles-I have learned to control my bubbles and
I don't even need to go to meetings any more....

My bubble link (funnygames) no longer works.  I know there must be a
million bubble links so I decide to google

i can only find bubbles (I have gone through over 100 links as of
right now, staying up until 2:47).  I need a link to bubbles that are
not metallic.  My old bubbles game was not pastel.  It was not neonish
metallic.  It played like an arcade game, not a video game.  It was
much harder to score than the current neonish, metallic, so removed
from the concept of mechanical that i can't even pretend, stupid new
bubbles.  I need my bubbles back.

does anyone have a link to a bubbles game that has the old coloring
(orange, actual pink, not rose or mauve, no shine on the bubble)?  I
am in serious need, here.  There will be rewards for someone finding
me a link for bubbles.  why did funny games disappear?  Is santa
dead?  where are the unicorns....?

IIRC, the link changed somehow, though we've changed computers.  The one I
use has a bit of shine on the bubbel, but there are many options here.

Personally, I'm hooked on bookwrom now and have a Scrabble list of shorter
words next to the computer for "help".

Hi Nann,
please see response to Deetee  (not a redundancy here, just need to
know if that link is still working for someone)  I love bookworm but
get very frustrated when it doesn't accept words that are indeed,
actually words and I have to think with bookworm and plot moves ahead,
etc.  Bubbles is mindless which is wonderful for me accasionally <g>

So thought maybe it was my browser but tried opera and it just will
not load.  It tries to and then stops.  Any clue as to what i should
do next.  I would be a little embarrassed taking my computer to my
computer guy and paying his hefty minimum to find out why bubbles
won't load.  I have actually never had this problem before.

You do have Flash enabled, don't you?  double check.  Once upon a time I'd
disabled it because it was making me nuts somewhere else and promptly forgot.
Was about ready to throw the computer out the window before I figured it
out!
Oh and i understand about bookworm.  I just can't play online games too long
as we are still on dial-up and are too cheap to pay for a second line.  So I
bought bookworm.  And Scrabble makes me nuts by accepting words such as "za"
(anyone use that for pizza?), so it all evens out.

I need to  buy my solitaire pack for OS X now.  The easier games there are my
offline mindless option.

Works for me - and just who was it who brought this evil curse back upon me?
HA HA HA  I got up to 389,700 I think once.  The slip got lost when I was
cleaning up one time.
