Hi! It's been quite a while since I have written. I'm the one who got
hurt at work and am fighting workman comp. My back got hurt and it
does show 2 bulging discs but also sudden arthritis and degenerative
stuff. Work comp is saying that it is all pre-existing and the truth
is, my back was totally great until I got hurt at work. I have read
posts about this kind of injury starting all the other stuff. Is there
any place I can find medical info. that shows that an injury can start
and be the initial problem for this kind of injury? My own FP doctor
has never heard that it can. You all here are the real authorities on
this. Please help. Thank you.

You really need to contact a rheumatologist - we don't see or understand
fully mri's, or such. Being online doesn't help.
You need professional help in the form of a good rheumatologist and a good
lawyer by the sounds of it.
Let us know what happens. Sorry you are still in pain and unable to work.

WHAT shows "2 bulging discs?" Your back is "it"?
Or did you mean tests/X-rays/scans?
> and also sudden arthritis.....
WHAT type of arthritis? (Of the more than 100 kinds)
> Is there any place I can find medical info.....
Try the Arthritis Foundation
(Google it if you don't have the URL)
The American College of Rheumatology
(Google it)
Cedars-Sinai Comprehensive Rheumatology Services
(Google it)

I'm not surprised. A FP doctor has no specialized
education, training, or experience with arthritis.
That's like going to a tire shop for a leaking
radiator problem.
Why aren't you seeing a rheumatologist for the arthrits?
... What happens if you get scared half to death twice?
