We are driving to Toledo this afternoon to catch a train at 4:30 AM (yes,
AM!!) for an on-site interview with a potential different job for Mike.
We're going to sleep a bit at a motel before the train - Mike knew i wouldn't
agree to traveling this way otherwise!

Michigan just had a brutal cold front come through - it's down to 3F outside
with strong winds.  Mike haas strong hands, but it should still be a long,
trying drive!  See you all late Thursday, hopefully not too whipped by the
trip.

Take care of yourself, Nann. That same front has come through Ohio and every
joint I own is in rebellion because of it. Didn't even attempt to go to
church today. Sigh.

OOooooh, safe travels Nann.  I sure don't envy you guys.   Tell Mike to
just take it easy and be careful!  Take some blankets and extra clothes
just in case!

the front hit me hard sat. evening.  when mike got home from a friend's
ordination about 4 pm, i was looking forward to going with him to game night
at our country church.  by the time he left around 6:30, i'd turned into a
whimpering heap on the couch.  i really hate how fast those pressure changes
can turn things around for us.

Welcome home!

Stock up on food and such, as we are supposed to get another nasty
weather front move through on sunday.

So, when will you and Mike hear about the interview and job you just
returned from?

Keep us posted!

yeah, I'm hearing the winter weather warnings this morning.  We're in good
shape to stay home and just look froward to the roads being clear by the time
we want to go into town on Tuesday!

As for the job, it ws one of those "we'll be in touch" situations.  The
search committee there has to meet and decide where to go and we did learn
they are in conversation with a couple of other candidates as well.  We'll
see where it goes.  We're going to Paris (France, not Paris, Tennessee where
we do have friends) - anyway, Paris in May and we'd just as soon not move
until we return.  I especially feel that way!
