January 23 - 6-month appointment with the surgeon (THR July 23)
He was worried about the lingering pain in the hip, groin and leg.
Sent me to the X-ray department. Radiologist wanted a picture of
the groin and twisted my leg. Can you say P_A_I_N ? Doc wants
me back in 3 months....mentioned possibility of another surgery.
Next day I had an appointment with the urologist (his X-rays
showed no mets to bones). Asked why I was aching and I told
him about the experience the day before in X-ray.
That evening the soreness began to fade. Woke Friday morning
with N_O pain in the hip, groin, or leg. Below the waist
I've been pain-free for 2 weeks. Knock on wood! <g>
Still have the lingering stiffness and soreness in the neck,
which produces headaches - most very mild, a few extreme.

Gee - no pain...wonder what that would feel like. Happy Thoughts, Chief!

Remember, that's no pain below the waist.
There's plenty in the torso. <g>

hmmmmm, wouldn't normally expect wrenching by an XRy tech to take care of
lingering pain, but I'm certainly glad it did in this case. Still, I don't
reccommend regular appts. with this tech to maintain the current pain levels!

I see the surgeon again in just 2 months now. It will
be interesting to see his reaction to the story. <g>
Just a coincidence? Who knows?
