We have at least 4 ASA members in Oregon, and several in
Washington (you didn't mention how close to the states'
border she'll be).  I'm sure 1 or more would be able to
"mother" your baby if she develops homesickness.  <g>

Actually, she will be just across the California border.  In Redding,
CA, she has one grandmother and two sets of aunts and uncles.  But
anyone is welcome to check up on her.  Her school is twelve monthes a
year with only four two weeks breaks.  So she won't be coming home
very often.

But she is emotionally and physically ready for this move.  She will
be homesick for awhile!
