That was my boo boo, as someone (Leslie, I believe) earlier
pointed out.    That should be Medicade.

Are you receiving Social Security Disability Insurance?

Does your county or state have a safety net for people in
your situtation?  My county just lost a lawsuit and had to
raise its "poverty level" and include more working poor
people.

You know how that's done, don't you?   <g>

OH YEAH!  You wrote earlier that the single guys had
better watch out.

... If you don't care where you are, then you can't get lost.

Yes, but what I get is higher than most get out here in WA since it's
based on the salaries I was making in NYC. It's good for me as I can
live on it (not high on the hog, mind you), but at least I can turn the
heat on.

Every time I call to apply for a program, I get told that I make too
much money on SSDI. Since I'm single and get more than $1000 a month, I
qualify for dingleberry.

Yea, the only problem is that I'm 57, so unless there is a miracle with
it, it ain't gonna happen now, LOL!

Wwll, yea, they'd better, but they don't have to worry about me getting
pregnant, LOL!
