DeeTee and Bob Taggart - 05 Jan 2008 23:25 GMT
Hi everyone! I'm home again but in a great deal of pain. The surgeon fixed
three hernias. Bob saw the film I didn't, but he said it was a pretty big
piece of mesh needed. My tummy looks like the back of an upholstered chair
with all the little tucks in it. The pain is pretty bad, but I'm staying on
top of it with the percoset. I'll post again in a few days.

Glad you got it done so quickly in that case DeeTee.  Take care and keep up
with the percoset.  Will be thinking of you.

And then rest and take it very easy some more.  Give this lots and lots of
time to heal thoroughly.  Remember, exercise is a nice walk, not moving a
table or sofa.  And if something is on the floor, it can just stay there,
got it?

Wish the ones I have could be repaired, but grateful they don't absolutely
have to be either, cause I've heard this can hurt an awful lot.

DeeTee, really glad the surgery itself is behind you.  Keep staying on top
of the pain; that's what the percoset is for.  Don't be brave and try to
wear the pain out at times.  It just doesn't work.  Will keep you and Bob in
my prayers.

You take care and heal properly. No moving, lifting, etc the wrong ways you
pamper yourself. You take care.

Alright DeeTee,
Shouldn't take too long for the pain to go away with laproscopy. I had a
double done a few years back.
glad it all came out ok.

Listen to what everybody is saying and rest, rest, rest, and take that
percoset on schedule.  These first days are the roughest, so just hang (not
literally!) in there.  God bless and we all are praying for you and your
family.
