I have been taking OTC Naproxen Sodium (Naproxsyn) 220 mg. tabs for about 2 weeks. I take 1 tab twice a day and it "seems" to be quite effective for the usual arthritic aches & pains. Also, it doesn't cause me stomach problems like an "effective" dose of ibuprofen does. Anyone been taking Naproxen Sodium for a long period of time? Jo I took it for 14 years, then it started rebounding (causing the symptoms it was meant to stop). So I was switched to Arthrotec, which I took for about 8 years then it caused small intestinal bleeding ulcers. I am not currently on an NSAID.....unless Plaquenil qualifies for that category.
