on my broom and pay them a personal visit, and they don't want to

sees you!

While on the grand scheme of karma it is not good to lie, if they try to put
you off again, tell them the pain is increasing. That would make them
concerned that it could be developing into an emergency situation.

My mother (of blessed memory) put off her hernia surgery for more than a
year. It strangulated and required emergency surgery in the middle of the
night. Not the better way to go about things.
