Well, I just got back from my follow-up visit to the hospital. I was
rather surprised to find myself talking to a physiotherapist, rather
than a doctor. She explained that the whole purpose of the visit was to
see how my knee was working.

I can do better than a 90 degree bend and have no trouble straightening
the leg, so don't need to have physio on it. Went over a few of my
worries regarding the aches and pains I've been having. All seems normal.

I've been discharged from the hospital completely. Need to go back for
an X-ray in 2 years to make sure my knee is still there, but otherwise
it's a case of doing as much as I feel I can - including driving!

I'm just hoping that I'm not going to be escorted out of this group,
since most of my arthritis has been cut away. My hands are still a
nuisance, though.

And I gather that some of you have some sort of celebration this week.
