Donna G. - 18 Nov 2007 21:11 GMT Oh, so true Jo.
After every single U of M football game, win or lose, I call my dad and chat about the game. Then, my brothers all call and some of my nephews call to, to hash over the game. This is cherished time for all of us!

J.K.M.A. hanbell@earthlink.net - 18 Nov 2007 23:47 GMT > Good luck blue, orange got em last week. :-) > GaryZ" Now, Gary, just remember your "orange" is doing so well because the Orange and Blue taught the Zooker that being pals with your players isn't the way to discipline them! The main reason the UF AD lost confidence in him as quickly as he did was poor handling of discipline issues, rather than his record of not winning as much as Spurrier had. I like to think he's learned he needs to be a surrogate dad rather than a pal to his players and that his success with the Illini includes off-the-field discipline.
(I won't digress into how I behaved in college, but I wasn't on a football scholarship!)

J.K.M.A. Donna G. - 17 Nov 2007 13:16 GMT LOL......that they did, Gary, that they did. They deserved the win, too, as our guys didn't play well enough to deserve it as it was. The bigger shocker last week, though, was that Ohio also lost! That was more of a shock then ever!!!

DeeTee and Bob Taggart - 17 Nov 2007 15:35 GMT Sorry, Donna. I'm a Univ. of Maryland fan, but since moving here, I guess I'm an OSU fan. I couldn't believe last week's game, but we're gonna beat the team from up north today. I asked Bob if I should go speak to the boys to set them straight. LOL

hanbell@earthlink.net - 17 Nov 2007 16:34 GMT I have College Gameday on right now! Go Blue and I hope this isn't Carr's last home game. He's a class guy and has done a fine job of bringing the team back this year.
Would you believe traveling with my mom last week cut out ALL college football? Anyone who knows me well, knows that means I really love my mom! LOL We were in Cinncy Sunday and I had to call Mike to find out if my Gators had won.

Donna G. - 17 Nov 2007 20:26 GMT OK, guys, good game! Congrats.
I just wish Henne and Hart would have been in better health, might have made a difference.
Oh well, I still say GO BLUE!!!
signed a loyal fan,

DeeTee and Bob Taggart - 17 Nov 2007 22:04 GMT LOL - I agree. Although the weather was a pretty big handicap for us...especially in the first half. I've never seen the QB slip so many times or so many balls dropped like that. Ah well, as you said, good game.

It is sad for the players who came back to beat Ohio State and just weren't healthy enough to play their best.

MZB - 20 Nov 2007 03:56 GMT Glad to see Carr resigned/retired. There is no denying his excellent record over the years, but he had to be the most BORING person I've seen!!! If he was a classroom teacher there would be a mass sleep-in
