Thanks for the E-mail about when and where our group will convene.  Looking
forward to it!

We are scheduled to leave Nov. 4 for a road trip.  Gene has a 4-day
convention in Nashville and he plans to drive down to Tupelo, MS first, drop
me off at my sister's for a visit, then come back down and get me after his
meetings.  However, I've had a bacterial infection for about 6 weeks now,
and have been through 2 different antibiotics, with no visible improvement.
I have a sore in the same area.  It won't heal, and I was referred to a
surgeon.  I saw the surgeon today, he cut off the old skin that had created
a covering on the sore, took a culture and plans to surgically remove it
(the sore) soon and stitch me up.  The sore is the size of a quarter and
I've never had anything like it, until now.  He felt it needed to be
removed, so he can see how deeply the infection is imbedded.

But, enough about me.  You've been through a lot, and I hope you are "back
on track" once again.  We always pray for miracles of healing, but we sure
need those doctors and surgeons, don't we.  I see that as healing too.  Take
