Finally had my first infusion yesterday. It was uneventful. Not scheduled for the second until 2 weeks from now. I know that many get their first two 1 week apart and I should have asked why but I was barely awake after my time in the recliner. Will keep you all posted. Incidentally, I am now taking 10mg of prednisone in the AM and 10 before bed. It seems to be holding for now if I get enough rest. I'm glad I don't have to make more right now. The doc says I may see some effect of the Orencia in about 6 weeks. Thumper I did get the energy effect after 6 weeks - maybe as quickly as 4 weeks. I have regained the 25 pounds I lost while in the hospital and want to eat all the time! I really hate that side effect.
