Thanks sweetie for the stamps from all of us on ASA. We appreciate them. It
keeps the card ministry going. You take care and heal up that rib, i know
how it goes.

At least you have a reason for your broken rib, a fall. I broke mine the
same day you did just coughing. So I don't even have a good reason for it.
So I will suffer along with you on this one.

Thanks again muchly appreciated.

Jo, I'm so sorry you are hurting along with me.  Do you have something to
take for the pain?   I'm already on a muscle relaxant and a sleeping pill
for nights so I'm getting by without taking the Lortabs.  I just have to be
very careful how I bend or turn at the waist.

No, I don't Gwen but this is like about the 4th time now I have broken a rib
from coughing, so I guess I am getting about as used to breaking ribs as you
can. ;0(

It basically hurts the most when I am coughing so if I can just stop
coughing, it would help.

Good grief, you two!  I'd give you a hug but it would probably hurt.
How about if I just blow kisses?

Thanks for the kisses, Denise.  I really have gotten along better than I
expected.  However, this morning my dog (11 lbs) decided she wanted to lie
on me in the bed and stepped right on that rib. It hasn't stopped hurting
since.  I'm sure it will soon though.  I still have pain medicine to take if
I need it.

Don't tell my wife that I said this but....... my wife is an expert on
finding where it hurts.   Even after I show her where and how it hurts...
She will find it again.  :-)   Your dog did this be accident.  My wife,,,,,

Thank you,Kate.  When I'm sitting or standing straight, I don't hurt.  But
it still hurts if I bend or twist wrong.  I'm being very careful now to put
a pillow over my waist if I am turned so that Abbie can reach my side!

ohhh nooo!  not again, sj?!  this is what, your third rib fracture, now?
man, that's awful!  you poor thing.  ((((((((((((((((((very gentle
hugs)))))))))))))) what did your doctor say keeps causing this to happen,
sweetie?  i mean, is it some sort of a structural or connective tissue
weakness?  hope you heal up quickly and feel better soon, hon.

kate

Thanks again muchly appreciated.

Nope don't have a clue Kate, and since I no longer have a dr again, I doubt
I will get an answer.

I have a feeling it is osteoporsis but can't be sure. they wouldn't do the
test when I had the hmo saying I was too young. yeah right.

I would suspect some kind of connective tissue weakness now that you
mentioned it though since I do have connective tissue issues. With the costo
and all in my chest, it is really hard to tell though.
