Home Based Medical Test For Circulation Problems Causing Arthritis

Take an elastic band .. one which will slightly decrease blood flow to
your arthritic hand or foot .. leave it on while you sleep ..

SEE .. the difference in PAIN from the decirculized joint and the
other nondecirculized joint .. when you wake up or when the PAIN ..
wakes you .. up.

Talk to your doctor about getting your blood flowing better by .. any
means necessary ..

Bloodletting of small amounts of blood will thin the blood .. hijama
theoretically accomplishes .. this ..

This is all theoretical but can be verified by medical studies .. IE:
circulation and arthritis

Another one of those studies that can be done in your head ..

Watch out though because this pain is going to be .. bad .. and DON'T
say I didn't tell you ..

For the less pain inclined PROOF as some put it .. one can simply look
at this article and it clearly shows increased viscosity / thick

VISCOSITY OF PLASMA AND BLOOD IN RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS
M. GUDMUNDSSON and A. BJELLE

Department of Rheumatology, Sahlgren University Hospital Gothenburg,
Sweden

Correspondence to: Correspondence: to A. Bjelle, Department of
Rheumatology, Sahlgren University Hospital, S-413 45 G?teborg. Sweden

Blood rheology was studied in 130 consecutive RA outpatients, 33 with
and 97 without extra-articular disease (EAD), and compared with that
in 88 blood donors.
All rheological variables were significantly elevated in the RA
patients compared with the controls.
Painful joint count (PJC), morning stiffness (MS) and radiographic
changes (RC) correlated significantly with plasma viscosity (PV), CRP,
ESR and fibrinogen concentration (FC), but only in the group without
EAD.
Corrected blood viscosity (CBV) at a shear rate of 92/s correlated
significantly only with MS.
Multiple regression with PJC, MS and RC as dependent variables showed
significant associations of PJC with PV, MS and CRP and RC with PV.
Multiple regression with PV as the dependent variable showed
significant associations with FC and IgG. RA patients with EAD had
higher PV (P<0.01), CBV at 92/s (P<0.05) and ESR (P<0.05) than the RA
patients without EAD.
Differences in profiles of viscosity variables between subgroups of
EAD in RA patients were observed.

Traditional medical technique sucks in Iraqis
By Rahim Sahib

http://www.iraqupdates.com/p_articles.php/article/18362
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Baghdad, 14 June 2007 (AFP)
Print article    Send to friend
Haidar al-Hajam carefully placed the glass jars over the slight
incisions on his patient's back and then began to pump out the air. In
the ensuing vacuum, the thick dark blood slowly oozed out of the cuts
and into the clear containers. "The Assyrians, the Chinese and the
ancient Egyptians all used to practice cupping to draw out the corrupt
blood," said Hajam as he deftly drained a few more spots on his
patient's back in his office in Baghdad's Sadr City slum.

Murtada Abu Ali, 45, has become a regular for this ancient treatment
known by its Arabic name of hijama, or sucking, and says it helps him
in a way no modern medicine can. "I got fed up with the painkillers
doctors were prescribing for my neck ache, so I decided to use hijama
and it's great - I urge others to try it," he said.

Increasingly Iraqis are following this advice and the ancient
technique is finding renewed popularity in central and southern Iraq
as people use it to cope with the stress of the country's unending
bloodshed.

The idea behind cupping, which was promoted by ancient Greek physician
Galen and medieval Islamic philosopher Ibn Sina [known as Avicenna in
the West], is to stimulate the skin and muscles to release toxins and
improve blood and lymph circulation. The process is also believed to
stimulate the release of histamine-like substances in the skin which
boost the immune system.

The immediate result is circular discoloration and bruising where the
glass has been placed, but many patients testify that the process
leaves them feeling rejuvenated.

The technique has long been used in the Arabian countries of the Gulf
and traditionally sections of horn were used, with the vacuum caused
either by the healer sucking out air or burning bits of cotton or
paper to eliminate the oxygen.

Hajam's tools have progressed with the times, however, and are
equipped with tiny pumps to remove the air and grip the skin.

The technique has also been prescribed for fevers and disorders of the
inner organs, including liver, stomach, intestines and kidneys and has
a firm position on the Western alternative medicine scene.

"The percentage of those who recover is very high, especially those
who have diseases of the heart and arteries, as well as diabetes,"
said Hajam, who sees up to 30 patients a day.

At first, Hajam asks the patient where it hurts and then places his
cup on the spot, sucks out the air, and leaves it for a few minutes,
before removing the cup. He then makes a number of small cuts,
replaces the cup and once again sucks out the air, bleeding the wound
for several minutes before sterilizing and bandaging the spot.

The back is the most common area to be cupped, because the "blood
stream is slow there and a continuous bleeding is ruled out,
furthermore it is less sensitive than other areas," Hajam explained.
"Prophet Mohammad himself used hijama. It is for many diseases, from
headache to arthritis and sciatica, even for sterility for men and
women."

The technique was also traditionally used by the historic pearl divers
of the Gulf to prevent diseases before they embarked on their three-
month-long pearling expeditions at sea.

"I sought out many physicians but they were all useless, so I decided
to try this," said Abu Tariq, 56, now one of Hajam's regulars. "I feel
energetic and revived now and will continue doing it."

Mushtaq Razzaq, 20, said it was his uncle who turned him on to the
technique. "Before I was always sluggish for no apparent reason, but
now I feel this wonderful change come over my body," he said.

Totally silly notion of course.  But it does release iron stores by way
of tissue damage.  But the body does have two main ways to control iron
levels.

funny as the above may sound to your uneducated mind...yes...tight socks CAN
and DO potentially cause damage in a compromised foot...the reason why we
always check feet sans socks on diabetics and anyone else with circulatory
issues...

in most cases...a sock and a rubber band are different animals...btw...

didn't read in your "cite" about using socks ...your word was "rubber
band"...

have never seen a sock with a rubber band ...

wouldn't doubt tho if you have...often times at the homeless shelters we

geesh, rustyrump, if you really and truly and honestly think you are
correct, go ahead and try it!  but, don't tell others to do it, until you
try it on yourself, first.  that way you really can have expertise.  just

Have you ever heard the word 'libel', Tom? <<

Yes I have ..

You don't admit to having killed children in error .. ?

You haven't EVER given a woman iron during her pregnancy .. ?

You practiced as a nurse for many years ..

You have said before that you haven't ever given a woman iron during
her pregnancy .. soooo .. I'll take that you are also a liar .. too ..
BECAUSE .. ? .. it was ... IS .. and seems with your ILK .. running
the show .. WILL ALWAYS .. be .. "recommended" / iron supplement for a

So .. the fact you said you haven't given iron to a pregnant woman ..
means .. ? .. either you never worked with a pregnant woman patient ..
in all your years .. or you simply FORGOT YOUR .. job .. which
was .. ? .. the **specific** recommendation OF .. iron supplementation
FOR that pregnant .. woman.

Which was it .. you a liar .. ? .. stupid .. ? .. never worked with
pregnant women .. ? .. what .. ?

AND as to the 'libel' .. bit .. you will notice the phrase child
killer is reserved for doctors and nurses because the iron
supplementation of children .. recommended by the WHO has been shown
to be killing .. kids ..

Need a cite .. ?

So .. the fact the WHO is run by medical professionals .. therefore
YOU .. / ilk .. means .. ?

The medical profession advocates for something which kills .. kids ..

Therefore .. do you know .. in the same vein .. what ..
manslaughter .. is .. ?

So .. fo ..

practice, with a 'c'.
