to the FDA, that is.  My RD called about the path report.  We can't be sure
what the interaction between the inflammed lymph nodes and small bowel and
malabsorption has been, but there is obvioulsy some sort of link.  So my
details are off to the FDA.  And all these years I've tried to avoid notice
by governmental agencies.........  ;-)  <chuckle>

LOL!  soooo, you are about to become part of the gov't database, eh?  to the
gov't, those of us who were noticed used to be the forests of stacks of
paper that got higher and higher as we got older.  now, we're "bits" that
grow into bytes and kilo/mega/gigabytes.  welcome to the gov't's virtual
reality!<g>

this sounds like your rd thinks your symptoms might be from one or more of
the drugs you are taking?  am i infering correctly?

We've been wondering if the records of Mike's decades-ago subscription to a
socialist rag has made the transfer to bytes and he'll be pulled over in an
airport one day.  Probably better to be in an FDA database.

ooops, in my efforts to word things the best way, I deleted the word "Enbrel"
completely!  Yes, this seems clearly to have either resulted from me taking
Enbrel or to have worsened greatly because of the Enbrel.  That the level of
interaction that is still unclear.  But the protein labs went wonky soon
after Enbrel, they found all this lymph node related stuff in the
investigating.  After 3.5 months off enbrel, protein labs are normal again,
but the lymph nodes are still inflammed. So the question of the second line
above remains, but it does seem like something they should know about in
tracking the effects of our miracle drugs.

I have no idea where the DMARDs-down-the-road conversation will take us
tomorrow.

Speaking of Jury duty, my wife got her citizenship 6 weeks ago and
today received her jury summons.

They figure the newbies will either want to do their civic duty or will
be too green to get out of it :)

Isn't that something?  Where we used to live I was called at least 4 times.
My DH was never called in 20 years there.  We moved to the Boston area,
keeping legal resicdence in Florida.  The ONLY thing we had in Cambridge was
our phone bill and the student records at his seminary, everything else was
included in our campus rent or was still in Florida.  He was called for a
jury our 3rd year there.  You never know when they'll find you!

I did get permission to delay jury duty once as I was in the midst of a bad
flare.  I think it helped that the judge had a friend with RA!

One of the most painful experiences of my life was jury duty in Houston with
both knees swollen and very painful.  Ya see,,,, Houston has this tunnel
system that the justice system fully believes in using  with lots of steps
here and there and walking on a slant which makes my knees just scream.  To
make things worse twice I did not quite raise my foot high enough and I went
down like a sack of flour.   That was when the day was done and I was going
to the parking building to get in my old truck.   Funny,,, how a person will
remember things like that.   The jury is always led by a Constable and
people are suppose to stay together and follow instructions.   I was always
last but I made it and a Constable mumbled to me that I should of talked to
the judge.   I just smiled an said thanks,,,, now you tell me.

LOL,,, I hope she enjoys the experience.... As they say,,,  it could
happen....

There are lots of Americans that just throw that in the trash...  I think
community service is the answer and lots of it.
