Thanks for all those good thoughts!  He was not only able to pluck out the
lymph nodes laparoscopically, but I did so well he let me come home instead
of staying overnight!  With us living 85 miles away, he'd planned to keep me
there to monitor for bleeding, etc., but I was just doing to well to justify
it.  Of course, the issue then became keeping puddin' from kneading my
stomach.  He's banished from the bedroom for a few nights.

This discomfort from the remaining gas is a new experience for me, a
different sort of pain.  It's steadily improving though.  I could grumble a
lot about how they now implement their pain scale there, but that can wait
for later.  I still have general anesthesia hangover.

Gee, if I'd known I'd be home on Friday, I would have picked up a video or
two at the library.

Ah yes, laproscopic gas.  They inflate you to get room to work and it takes
several days to dissipate.  Well worth it once that "passes" though.

Oh I remember the gas after 'exploratory' surgery once! Hang in there, Nann.

Hugs, DeeTee

I'm glad they were able to do the laprascopic thing, Nann.  Hope those
gas pains go away soon.  I remember them well.

thank goodness for home!  All of us recuperate better with our own toilets
and beds with less germs.  Just take it really easy and yes keep puddin from
kneading (so says the lady with a cat on a lap and the dog the cat hates
sitting with his nose too close!).

Hopefully this gives you some answers.

Glad you could come home, Nann.  I've only had one operation that I had to
stay overnight (ended up four days) for and really do prefer coming home.
Here's a wish for some good movies on the TV.  Hope you feel better soon.
