Actually this is not the forum for the discussion of autism. I did
however look at your site and I am pleased that Dr. Andrew Wakefield
er al. will be dealt with for what they did to the general public
regarding the MMR scare.
Insofar as autism being an autoimmune condition, I would need much
more evidence. From the literature I have studied there are several
characteristics that suggest a genetic component, but there may be
factors that allow the expression of those genes. Dr. Peter Szatmari
from Ontario and his colleagues around the world have been conducting
an extensive study examining genetics as a possible cause and have
found very compelling information to show that that is the case. Look

Often children with autism may have comorbid conditions, some of which
may be autoimmune, and this may complicate the picture.
