it had to be a heart-breaking game for you yesterday. I'm sure Lloyd Carr
will pull things together in practice this week, though. He certainly should
have the players' attention now!
(I'll admit to a touch of conflict thoug - App State is a school I've been a
bit found of since living in NC in the 80s.)

LOL..............thanks, Nann! It definitely was a disappointment and
certainly not the way you want to start your season off, but oh well.
The really frustrating part was that I couldn't even watch the game to
see where they were struggling as the game wasn't aired on the normal
channels. Major bummer! I had to hear bits and pieces of it while
watching the UAB vs MSU game. That game was about as boring as watching
grass grow! Hopefully next week the game will be better and hopefully
shown on the regular channels of tv.
I'm just soooooo excited to have the season in full swing now!
Go Blue!!! ; )

We talked today to some folks who were at the game and learned there were
some really strange coaching decisions made. We couldn't get it on any of
our channels either (basic Dish Network), but ESPN kept breaking in for
updates.
Any Gators who are bemoaning our game being called with almost 9 minutes
remaining due to lightning in the area, shoul remember that at least we won!
I hear some folks actually wanted to stay out on the metal bleachers with
lightning all around them. Nuts!
Isn't it a joy to have college football underway again?
