Hello gang Am just up after 2 weeks of kidney infection that almost killed me for sure. Tomorrow is Patty's birthday and I think it would be wonderful if we could all send her ecards. I know this has been a year of such immense difficulty for her and I think we can all help change that by wishing her a new year. One of my major issues with newsgroup reality is how quickly someone can drop away from the group. Sometimes, like in Andrea's case, that means a wonderful new life; other times it is just to hard to even begin to articulate just how difficult things are (my case this year and thanks to Kate and DeeTee and her wonderful Linda,rosie and Norm, Jo and many more of you....) Often we need us most when we are not posting. So let's shower Patty with virtual love, flowers and wishes. If you can't find her email address, let me know thanks m M, you were not suposed to get sick just after almost being over your knee injuries. So sorry you did, and hope you are completely over it by now. How are Megan and Logan? It was interesting being this sick-I couldn't even answer the phone and somehow, the world went on (well except i am now playing catch-up) Ola kept the b&B going, the minimal bills got paid groceries got bought and Meg had to rely on friends. Logan is going to be five on september 16th. I just can't even imagine that. m Thanks, M, for the heads up. Will definitely get right on it! BTW, will Logan start kindergarten this year? (i feel like i want to be a jack benny clone and say, "now, cut that out!") all of us just have to quit doing this macabre dance we keep doing with medicos. it's getting tooooooo scary. I've never been so sick in my life! We had just got home from vacation and I'm thinking I might have contracted it from the hot tub in our motel room. Anyhow, I was on I.V. antibiotics, and went back and forth from shivering and piling blankets on my body, to hot and feverish. I feel for you!
