We keep sending cards and letters and other items to each other - here is a
money saving hint.

The second (and third, and fourth, and fifth, ect) ounce of a letter is only
17 cents.

If you continue to use two 41-cent stamps on a 2-ounce letter, you waste 24
cents each time.

Did you get the card and patch I sent to you??

I sure did, thanks.

I wrote a "thank you" post the same session I wrote to Kate, and I answered
your question when you first asked.
Now I'm wondering if my replies aren't showing up on your server??????

I finally see this one. Don't know why I get some and not others.

Dee Tee, This is at least the second and I think the third time I've seen
chiefs thanks to you, so I'm betting there is a problem between the servers.

Anyway maybe by posting a copy thru my server it will get to you.

And I'll add a note while I'm at it.  Not a day goes by I don't think of you
and wish you well and pray that you can share in all our strength when you
need it.  I know most of us don't have a whole lot, but there are lots of
us.

Thank you, Sweetie! Friday is my 'last' chemo. I put last in quotes like
that because if this stuff returns, I have to do it again. I am pretty sure,
though, that it won't come back.

Hugs to all, DeeTee

how good to know this, hopefully the ONLY, round of chemo is wrapping up!
rest and recover from al your body's been through.  The nurse at my RD's
office Thursday was asking about my bracelet, so if your ears were burning
Thursday afternoon, it was us!

and btw, I, too, have decided this won't come back.  If we all kick in our
positive thinking, it has to add up!

That is true. Unfortunately, I can walk to the mailbox with the letter
but it is a five mile round trip drive to the post office to get the
proper postage and I think the gas would be more than 24 cents. :)

But you can order stamps by mail these days.   USPS will deliver they right
along with your other mail.

So there is no driving and no gas usage.

i've received usps postcards about that--short on detail.  i still haven't
figured out how to do that, chief.  so, i tend to do what betty does and for
the same reason.

You can place the order online.

You can also put a check in your mailbox with a note "please bring a roll
(or name your quantity) of 17c stamps. They will do that, along with a
reorder form for the next time.

Ya But! We live in a motorhome in San Jose and do not receive mail at
the RV park. The mail drop is even farther away than the post office.
;)
