i'm on "talk about" and tried to post yesterday but lost the post. that
scroll arrow at the bottom is so close to the reset button that i must
have hit it. talk about is ok for me but the posts font is so small i
can't see it very well. where else can i find this group?
i have had an awful 18 months with problems related to ra and
osteoporosis. some better now, but for awhile i couldn't get out of bed
to go to the toilet. i got a different doctor, two in fact. went back on
mtx and prednisone and got a power chair. my computer was going bad so i
lost the way to post, but could lurk some of the time.
about the bridge. we have family in minnesota, so this was a tense week
for us. my niece goes on the street that goes under the bridge twice a day
and 5 days a week. she was there about 6pm, and turned around to find
another way due to the congestion, probably people going to the game
nearby. the bridge went down behind her, and she didn't know it until she
got home and saw it on tv. she saw the children from the bus on their way
to the red cross shelter. her parents are in southern mn., and couldn't
get ahold of her until 10:30 that night. news messages were telling people
"don't use your cell phone". so far none of the other family members are
missing. it is such a hugh family, i call it a tribe. we never know what
the next minute will bring, so seize the moment.

a new laptop that i will soon have hooked up with a router, then i can sit
in the recliner and rest my back.

Hi Lady -- I just finally found the group again myself after a long
abscent. I am a grandmother now; we moved to California; and we just
JUST bought a new house which we moved into last Wednesday.

hi duckie the dancer. i'm glad you are back and look forward to your
interesting posts. where are you in the bay area? i'm in santa rosa, wine
country, but i don't do wine. it was prune orchards when we moved here from
minnesota. enjoy your grandbaby. they grow up so fast. my one and only is
21 and a sr. in college.

Hi Shirlawn,
I am sorry to see you having such a problem with your RA and osteoporosis.
Also sorry to see you are having problems with the font being too small. I
know that feeling with the font too small.
I sure hope the rest of your family checks in and are all ok.
I hope you can post too. We all need somewhere we can talk and share and
whine if we have too. ;-)
Not to far from you. I am in the central valley by Stockton.
We have a few of us here in CA.
Have a good day if you can. Hope it is cooler up your way.

Love and Hugs to all

Mary and I visited a couple of tasting rooms last October.
Our favorite was Hook & Ladder. <g>
We're planing to get to Santa Rosa again this October, and perhaps we can
meet for lunch somewhere in the area.
Any suggestions?

Redwood City -- South of SF and north of Palo Alto. Saw Noah
yesterday -- been 8 days and he had changed soooo much.
