My daughter went to one of the Barnes and Noble midnight parties and picked
it up. She just said she just finished Chapter 32 out of 36). She swears she
didn't read all night. But she has been reading all day. She's planning on
taking it with her to a baseball game (Single A Short season - the real bush
league).

Mine should be in the mail today! My son gets his mail in the morning and
got his before me.

i haven't gotten my copy, yet!LOL did take my grandson to the opening of
the new harry potter movie, though.<g> it was good.

My son has six passes for the theater, so as soon as they accept passes, he
is taking his wife, his mother (me!), his grandmother and his wife's parents
to see it. Then we will probably all go out for supper and talk about it.

(I'm a little afraid to read the last book, too.) I'm trying to avoid any
newscasts etc that might reveal some of the plot. There was a article in
today's paper that I have put on my desk to read later. Under the headline
they have "Spoilers - some plot revealed"!

I just finished it. The ending is bloody brilliant! I cried it was such
a good ending. I couldn't have written a better one myself :)

I had to chuckle and quote you to my husband, Carole. I know you've lived in
the states for years, but "bloody brilliant" is just so British! lol

Two of my gchildren called me on Friday and asked me to go to the Party...
My gdaughter Katie is 4..she called it the Harry Potter Birthday Party...So
I had to go and at least make an appearance..We had company that night and I
didn't leave until after 10pm..I hung around for about an hour...My daughter
bought 2 copies..One for her and one for My Gdaughter that just turned
11..so far..they haven't told me how it went..We have seen all the movies
except the newest one...I think that I will get all of her books and read
them though..the Book is always better than the movie...
And I can't even remember the last movie as we watched it with all the gkids
at home...and I didn't get to sit still too much..May rent that one and
watch it again before we go to the new one...
My favorite one so far was the Secret Chamber...
