Hey Nann,
Saw your letter in the most recent copy of Arthritis Today! Was
surprised to be flipping through it and see someones name I actually
knew! Good for you!
Hugs,
Donna

I don't get Arthritis Today now. Any way to send me
me a copy of the letter and the answer?

Gwen, I pick up a copy a the rheumy's office. I'll
try to get 2 copies next week at my appointment.

Nann,
It was about the declining number of RD's and many people having to
travel a distance to see them. You wrote in your letter about your
situation up where you are and how you felt blessed that the rd comes to
a town near you.
I don't know if this could be accessed online by visiting the arthritis
today site or not. I, like Joe, picked up a free copy at the RD's
office!

Ah, ok, I found that one in my OUTBOX from back in February. I must have
heard about their survey and emailed them from the website. I wrote several
letters back when I was a member and nothing was ever printed, so I promptly
forgot about this one! lol I should be able to find it in town today.
We are blessed - I know others in our corner of the state who see my RD and
everyone thinks well of him. And we REALLY appreciate the satellite offices.

That would be great, Chief. I see my Rheumy on the 17th but I've never seen
a copy in his office.

If you can get an extra copy I would like one too. I don't see them anywhere
I go for medical treatment.

If I grab 2 copies and Mary picks up 2, we'll have 4 copies.
That's 1 for Gwen, 1 for Jo, and 1 extra.
Anyone else itching for one? <g>

hmmm, at first I thought I hadn't written them except to get off their
mailing list since I quit donating a year ago in favor of giving my arthritis
donations all to the NPF (national psoriasis foundation, being a PA person).
Now that I think of it, it does seem I answered something on their website
when I went looking for an email address to get rid of the 3-4 mailings about
rejoining they send me each month. What WAS it about? I'll have to see what
was printed! LOL I'll look it up at the library when I go into town
tomorrow.

I just found this again, cleaning out my ASA box. I still haven't seen the
letter in print, though I still have the original in our OUTBOX. But.....
when I went to my RD 2 weeks ago, they mentioned on having seen the letter
and appreciating the comments. (Actually, the nurse said their PA spotted it
and called it "this is one of OUR patients!) Then Saturday I got an email
forwarded from the Arthritis Found. from someone in the Upper Peninsula
asking for the name and contact info of my RD. Talk about getting a nice
glow from sending in a little comment!
