Well, went and saw the endocrinologist about the thyroid stuff
yesterday.

She of course wanted more bloodwork and I have to do the dreaded thyroid
biopsies again!   LOL....she said I could either do the biopsies or let
them go in surgically to remove some tissue.   Gee....what choices.

She didn't think my hair falling out by the handfulls was related to the
thyroid, but will give final answer after she sees the bloodwork
results.

Her primary concern wasn't even all the nodules and cysts, but more that
they found several calcifications in the thyroid on the ultrasound, and
she said those can sometimes be an early indication of thyroid cancer.
Oh yipeeeeee!

Anyways, not going to worry about it until I have to.   Biopsies are
scheduled for mid july.   They will do these biopsies with ultrasound
guidance and would like to take 10-12 tissue samples.  She said they
will have a pathologist on hand to do an initial look at things to make
sure they have good samples, then it will take a couple of weeks to know
the results.

Oh well, as the saying goes, never a dull moment!!!  LOL!!!

At least had a very good visit with my cardioogist and that is a
positive.

Hugs all around to you wonderful people!!!

Well I'm very glad the cardiologist visit went well.  Let's hope this
thyroid stuff is minor.  I hate to see you going through these biopsy
things though.  It's a little overdue for you to rest.

Okay donna - I am not going to even comment on the first part as it is going
to be okay!!!! Let's just say how wonderful to see the good visit with the
cardiologist and celebrate that!  Both of us need the good news badly.

Oh and of course it will be nice to know that the first is really nothing at
all!  Prayers and thoughts and gentle hugs going on that.  It will probably
be a tough wait until then.
Just know i am right beside you,

Kelly

Hoping and praying for good results all the way around!  Hang tough- as they

Donna,

I am sure hoping things turn out well for you with the thyroid. You take
care and don't worry about it. You will know for sure when the testing is
done. I know that is easier said than done. You take care of you.

Glad you got some good reports back.
