Well, apparently the old ticker is in fine shape and needs no repair,
which is fine. A strange experience all the way around.
Oddest of all whas that when they had me all set up on thit table under
all this equipment some woman I never saw before came bouncing in to
harang me about my cholesterol number, which nobody had mentioned before.
Then she went away. I would have been no less surprised if a mime had
come in next.
So, I am supposed to lay around today and take it easy tomorrow. I can do
that.

no, no. Must lay around and watch Chinese movies. Doctor's orders. Next
on the DVD pile, "Walking alone for thousands of miles."

Great news!!! So happy they didn't find anything serious!
Do rest and recover from your procedure and keep us posted as to how you
do.
Hope the cholesterol level can be controlled .

Closer inspection reveals that it is "Ride thousands of miles (or a
thousand miles, it's the same in Chinese) alone." It is a tear jerker
about a Japanese man trying to film a Chinese opera for his son who is
gravely ill. No, I'm not making it up. It's really quite touching. I
ain't walking that far. A couple of weeks ago I went on an exercise
program that consisted of walking all the way around the block once every
day and Saturday morning I couldn't stand up.

We just got back from a week long Alaska cruise. And got a lot of exercise.
My niece the travel agent booked us rooms as far from the dining room as
possible.
